This site will talk about my journey combining my passions around fly fishing and being an entrepreneur.

I am currently starting up a new company building on my tech experience and my enthusiast hobbies. Guidesly is a new company connecting outdoor enthusiasts with trusted guides. I founded Guidesly in 2019 and launch the app in March 2020.

A bit on my history:

JumpStart Games

For 11 years I was President, CEO & Board Member of JumpStart Games. JumpStart is the maker of educational games for kids. It was a great honor working to transform JumpStart from a cd-rom product company to a mobile and online maker of incredible learning games and school learning products. JumpStart re-entered the school market and grew our MAU’s 10x to nearly 10mm MAU’s. Along the way we built relationships with DreamWorks/Universal Studios to build games arournd tremendous brands like Madagascar and How to Train Your Dragons, the NFL and Smithsonian building unique branded learning games.

JumpStart is a 20+ year old venture-backed company. We sold JumpStart to NetDragon (HK: 777) in 2017 and I left early 2019.

RazorGator

Prior to JumpStart I was President, CEO & Board Member of RazorGator, a venture-back sports ticketing and event company. Backed by Kleiner-Perkins and Oak Investment Partners & SteamBoat Ventures. RazorGator was a diverse company with an ecommerce business selling secondary tickets, a SaaS offering for large corporations to manage their ticket inventories and an event management company to manage big events. We built relationships with the NCAA to run the Final Four, Bowl Games, NFL Teams, Soccer Leagues and many, many more. We grew that company from a small company to over hundred million revenue. The divisions were sold individually.

ToySmart

My first company was ToySmart, an ecommerce startup I founded in 1996. As Founder, CEO and Board Member I built the company from the beginning. That was an incredible opporutnity to work with great people building a consumer brand. ToySmart was a venture-backed company we sold to Disney in 1999.

Boston

I was born in Boston area grew up loving all things Boston. Attended Northeastern University (Boston, MA) and received an accounting degree. I played college football at Northeastern and met my wife, we raised three kids and live just north of Boston.
